Brian was a junior in high school just outside of Boston, Ma when the news of Sept 11th, 2001 broke. After high school he earned a BS in Business Admin from Bryant University in 2007, but still feeling unfulfilled enlisted in the Navy in 2008. He served on board the USS Abraham Lincoln for two West-Pac deployments 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 in support of OEF and Operation New Dawn. After leaving the Navy Brian settled down north of Seattle where he started hiking to clear his head and relieve stress. Hiking soon progressed to scrambling, then mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, and trail running. Brian has also earned Washington State Fire Fighter & EMT certification as well as a M.S. in National Security, but finds the most rewarding and fulfilling career to be a full-time dad.
