After completing a degree at the University of Chester David joined the British Army, and attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. After graduating he Joined the Duke of Lancaster Regiment as a platoon Commander and saw active duty in Afghanistan. Shortly after, he left the Army and moved out to Colorado. He immediately fell in love with the mountains and their various pursuits, including skiing, mountain biking and mountaineering. He completed his first Vet Ex trip in 2018 learning to Ice Climb for the first time. He immediately understood the profound impact the organization was having on veterans lives and wanted to support the mission further by joining the board.
